Itinerary Details
Day 1 : Arrival (Colombo Negombo):
- As you arrive in Colombo, our representative will greet you and you will be transferred to Negombo. On reaching Negombo, you check- in at the hotel.
- Get ready for a short trip to Negombo to know the cultures sprawling here.
- In the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Negombo - Chilaw - Kandy:
- This day treats you with some astonishing charms of Lord Rama’s Mythology which make you wonder and ponder in disbelief. After breakfast, get ready for a trip to Muneshwaram and Manawari. It is believed that Lord Rama rested here on his way back to Ayodhya after winning over the king Ravana. Munneswaram temple belongs to the 1000 CE and houses a collection of five temples. Whereas Manawari is the place where Lord Rama installed and prayed at four lingams as per the advice of Lord Shiva.
- Continue your trip to Kady. En-route, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant orphanage where over 10965 elephants reside. It is a great place to see elephants feeding, playing and bathing happily in their natural habitat. Spend some moments of peace at the Herbal Garden and the Dalada Maligai, the holiest place for Buddhists as it houses a relic of Lord Buddha. The day ends with a beautiful cultural show which takes you deep into the cultures of the country.

Day 3 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya:
- After breakfast, get ready to witness the very beautiful botanical gardens at Peradeniya. The garden covers an area of 147 acres blessed with 4,000 species of plants. Some of the most fascinating collection of flora found here which include Giant Bamboo of Burma, a century old giant Javan fig tree, Cannonball tree, etc.
- Continue your trip to Nuwara Eliya. En-route, stop at the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple enjoying a stunning location. The tea plantations found here add to its beauty and give you opportunities to learn about the process of tea making.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a short trip to Nuwara Eliya known for its picturesque landscape. It is perhaps the most significant tea production location in Sri Lanka. From here you can catch views of the spectacular Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Air is fresh here to let you unwind to the deepest.
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya:
- After breakfast, visit the Seetha Amman Temple and Ashok Vatika. Seetha Amman Temple is believed to be the place where King Ravana kept Sita after abducting her. Ashok Vatika also has a great significant in Indian mythology. You will also be taken to Hakgala Botanical Garden housing over 10,000 species of flora. Lakhs of travellers visit here due to its natural and mythological significance.
- Your next destination is the Sri - Lankatheeswarar Temple which was raised by Gayathri Siddhar in the year 1974.
- In the evening, return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Nuwara Eliya - Colombo:
- After breakfast, get ready to visit Colombo. Here you will be taken to the very popular Anjaneyar Temple, Panchamuga (five faced) known for housing a chariot of Ajanyear. Next important temple you will visit is the Kelaniya Temple, a famous Buddhist shrine. Buddhists believe that this temple is blessed and its history goes back to 500 BCE. The temple features a reclining Gautama Buddha and showcases some important events in the life of the Buddha.
- Return back to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 6 : Departure from Colombo:
- In the morning you will be transferred to the airport from where you board flight for your onward journey.
