Church of the Holy Spirit
Church of the Holy Spirit in the Old Market Square is an ancient church of Margao.  It was constructed in 1564 by the Jesuit missionaries. It was once destroyed by Muslim soldiers in 1571 and was later rebuilt in 1645. The church flaunts Indian Baroque architectural style and showcases interiors like pipe organ, crystals and stucco. People visiting here worship Immaculate Conception of Mary, St. Peter and St. Michael. The church also hosts a grand feast on every10th of June. 

Monte Hill
Monte Hill is a hillock known for housing the Chapel of Calcada de Nossa Senhora de Piedade. The church is also known with the name of Our Lady of Mercy and organises the only mid-night candle light Christmas mass in the state.

Sri Damodar Temple
Sri Damodar temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The amazing fact about this temple is that it is visited by both Christians and Hindus. Kushawati River, flowing right next to the temple, has healing powers of curing skin diseases. The temple is known for hosting a grand annual fair between Ashwin Poornima and Vadya Chaturthi
