Golden Triangle

India is an incredible destination with an astonishing history and even more astonishing cultures. Every façade of this country is diverse. Every state of India has a distinct charm. Travelers visit here to know about its inspiring history which still has so many unread pages. That’s why India has been categorized into various circuits to make it easy for travelers to choose what exactly they want to see. And one such culturally rich and historically flamboyant travel circuit in India is the famous Golden Triangle Tour which weaves together three spectacular cities – Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.

Golden Triangle Tour lets you walk down the memory lanes of the country in the most exciting way. It impresses every first time visitor willing to delve into the most beautiful facades of the country.

Delhi
The tour starts in the National Capital, Delhi. Delhi is truly fascinating with a perfect mix of old and new. The city takes you to Old Delhi where you explore the very famous Chandni Chowk market, the hub for shopping and tasting the best street food of Delhi.  The narrow alleyways here remain filled with flavorsome aromas of street chaat, mouth-watering kebabs, all kinds of paranthas and a lot more. Close to   Chandni Chowk stands the grand Red Fort or Lal Qila, one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. The next on the tour is Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India which can accommodate over 25,000 people at a time. Qutab Minar complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is also a must visit in Delhi. Spend your evening hours at India Gate enjoying boat rides.

Agra
The next destination of the Golden Triangle tour is Agra, the city of Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh. On the way, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient fortified city still echoing many stories of the bygone era. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is an incredible example of true love built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his favorite wife Mumtaz. Also visit the grand Agra Fort, which was once residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty.

Jaipur
Welcome to the pink city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Jaipur is known for its incredible list of historical masterpieces. The Hawa Mahal here is a must visit place with 953 small windows used by royal women to observe everyday life and street festivals without being seen. Also visit the larger than life City Palace blending together Rajasthani and Mughal architectures. Amber Fort, standing in the outskirts of Jaipur, is a hard to miss place. It was built in 1592 A.D. using many artistic Hindu style elements. Some major attractions here include Diwan-i-Aam, or "Hall of Public Audience", the Diwan-i-Khas, or "Hall of Private Audience", the Sheesh Mahal, etc. Do not miss a chance to shop in the local markets of Jaipur brimming with Rajasthani attires, jewellery and handicrafts.
