Another major attraction here is the Lake Palace built in the 18th century. Located on Jag Niwas Island amidst the Lake Pichola, the Lake Palace is now a heritage hotel. The semi-precious stones gracing the palace’s black and white marble walls, the beauty of the palace enthralls the travelers. The courtyards of this heritage structure are embellished with gardens, fountains, pillared terraces and columns.

Another popular attraction here is the Jag Mandir, also known as the Lake Garden Palace. Situated on an island on the Lake Pichola, the palace once serves as a summer resort to the royal family. Housing marble statues and spacious courtyards, the spectacular views of the palace’s surroundings during the sunset is what attracts the tourists the most.
‘Courtyard of the Maidens’ also known as Saheliyon ki Bari, built by Rana Sangram Singh, is another popular attraction here. Full of lush greenery, the place houses a small museum, fountains, kiosks, a lotus pool, marble artifacts and pavilions.

Another major attraction here is the Bagore ki Haveli built by Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime Minister of Mewar. Built in the 18th century, the Haveli houses more than 100 rooms featuring modern art, traditional costumes, a huge collection of Mewar paintings and glassworks.
