Beyul of Pemako

The valley of Beyul in the Pemako area is a joy for nature devotees looking for a perfect location to cherish the simple pleasures of life. The valley is hidden in the Upper Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh state. It is also known for being a prominent Buddhist pilgrimage cuddled by the majestic Himalayas in all directions. Beyul of Pemako is extremely popular among trekkers seeking an unforgettable trekking experience.  Since ages, devotees have been visiting the area for kora, housing sites of Devakota, Titapori Mountain, Eko Dumbing (Riu Tala), Pemashree and Danakosha Lake, to spend some moments amidst serenity and spirituality.  The region can be accessed by taking a four days trek which takes you to the Titapori Mountain at a height of 14,000 ft. From here the world seems even more beautiful. Landscape from here seems like a delightfully opened lotus. The mountain is ideal to enjoy heart pleasing ambience while catching splendid views of the Eastern Himalayas. In the north direction, you will see Namcha Barwa peak and Kundu Dorsempotrang, whereas on the South rests south Eko Dumbing ranges and the west is occupied by Pemashree.

The forest cover is popular among Tribal hunters belonging to the Adi Tribe who visit here to gather aconite poison and to pray.
