Sessa Orchid Sanctuary: This Sanctuary was laid in the year 1979. It runs over an area of 100 sq. km with Doimara and Tenga reserve forests as a part of it.  Here you can savor the sights of deep valleys and high as well as low hills. Visit here to explore its 200 species of orchids apart from fauna like red panda and pheasant. The sanctuary can be visited during any time of the year.

Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary: This Sanctuary lies in close proximity to Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. From here you can capture amazing views of waterfalls and the Kameng River. It is a great place for bird watchers where they can spot some beautiful looking birds like eagle, hornbill, kingfishers, ducks and pheasants. Many animals like Bengal tiger, langur, Asian elephant, black bear and red panda also reside in the Sanctuary. However, what add more color to its outlook are the 165 types of butterflies residing here.

Dirang Valley: This picturesque valley stands between Bomdila and Tawang. Weather in this valley remains pleasant all year long and views from its top look dramatic. Here you also find many hot water springs apart from apple orchards. Bird watchers and trekkers visit here in abundance.

Bomdila Monastery: This is an ancient monastery established in the year 1965. Here you learn a lot about the essence of Buddhism. It is frequented by followers of Mahayana Buddhism apart from people belonging to different faiths. The monastery has a serene surrounding where visitors can meditate for hours.

Bomdila View Point: This is a must visit place for spotting the most beautiful vistas of the nature sprawling around. You can see Nechipu Pass from here apart from the West Kameng Valley.
