Betla National Park: This abode of wildlife sprawls over the mountainous terrain of the beautiful Palamau district. Here you can spot numerous wild elephants walking around. Travelers can also spot sloth bear and panther apart from wolf, jackal and hyena here. The place offers you an insight of the rich tribal heritage of Jharkhand. The Park also houses two historical forts built in the 16th century.

Upper Ghaghri Waterfalls: Amidst a verdant emerald valley, under a hazy sky rests the Upper Ghaghri Waterfalls. Just 4kms away from Netarhat, the waterfalls look splendid. Here you can relish super relaxing water sound as it falls on the rocks. It is a great location for photographers as well as nature lovers.

Lower Ghaghri Waterfalls: Enjoy a trek into the dense forest area where this waterfall rests. Cascading from a height of 32ft, Lower Ghaghri Waterfalls flows into a small river right in the heart of the forest. Abundance of trees circle around the falls, filtering sunrays and casting beautiful shadows.

Magnolia Point: Sunset views from the Magnolia Point are even more beautiful and romantic. People visit here to enjoy the serenity of the place and ends up spending their whole evening to catch unseen hues of orange as the crimson sun slowly moves down behind the imposing mountains.

Take a beautiful trekking expedition amidst this Pine forest in Netarhat. The area remains cool with pleasant winds blowing throughout the year. It is a perfect place to enjoy nature walks and click some amazing pictures.

Netarhat can be visited at anytime of the year. Days here are moderately sunny whereas evening hours are breezy. Visit here from March to June to flee from the heat of summers.
