Another major attraction here is the Pratapgad Fort, which is a significant site associated with the legendary Battle of Pratapgad. The structure of the fort is divided into upper and lower fort. The roughly square shaped upper fort was built on the crest of the hill, while the lower fort is placed on the southeastern side which was constructed after the Battle of Pratapgad.
Moving on to the next popular attraction, the Mount Malcom located at Prospect point sits amidst incredible natural beauty and picturesque views. This architectural gem was built to honour British officer John Malcolm, and was named after him. With its typical British Architectural style, the mansion attracts many visitors.
