Top Places to Visit

Tashiding Monastery
Tashiding Monastery has a beautiful old world charm and a tranquil ambiance. People visit here for some mental solace and to acquire some enlightenment and spirituality. The monastery has a beautiful architecture and enjoys a backdrop of imposing mountain peaks. This remains one of the oldest Buddhist Monasteries in Sikkim.  It was raised in the 17th century and is cuddled by Rangit and Rathong Rivers. It is believed that this place cleanses all your sins if you ask for forgiveness. The shrine has colourful fluttering prayer flags around it and it acts home to around 60 to 70 monks.

Dubdi Monastery
Also known with the name of Yuksom Monastery, Dubdi Monastery was built in the year 1701. This Buddhist shrine was built during the rule of Chogyal Namgyal and is believed to be to be the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. The monastery flaunts beautiful panoramic views of the surroundings and offers endless mental peace.

Khangchendzonga National Park
This UNESCO World Heritage Site sprawls over 1784 sq km.  It acts home to some exotic animal species like Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Great Tibetan Sheep, etc. Bird lovers can enjoy a memorable bird watching experience with a number of bird species, including Black-necked Crane, Grus nigricollis, Grey Peacock Pheasant, etc.  Here you can find 18 glaciers, including Zemu Glacier the most beautiful one.

Tashi Tenka
Tashi Tenka was once an imperial palace standing on a ridge. Now it is the place with ample of natural beauty offering great views of the surrounding areas. It has Rabdentse Monastery on its South and the Pemayangtse Monastery on its left. It is a perfect place to catch breathtaking view of Khecheopalri and remains extremely popular among nature seekers.
