Attractions

Dhakpo Monastery
This serene monastery is the one and only shrine dedicated to Lord Buddha in the state of Chhattisgarh. The monastery is known for hosting Tibetan marriages. Visit here and spend some moments of peace exploring the place and interacting with lamas residing here.  

Tiger Point Waterfall
Tiger Point Waterfall is an abode of Mother Nature with dense forest cover sprawling all around. It cascades from a height of 60m and looks beautiful in its outlook. The waterfall earned its name as tigers were spotted here in the past. Visit here to catch its beautiful surroundings. There is also a dam close to the fall which deserves a visit.   

Machali (Fish) Point
Machali (Fish) Point rests in the dense mountain ranges. From here you can spot Machali Nadi river flowing. Numerous species of fish can be found here which gave this place the name of Fish point. Geologists and environmentalists visit here a lot and it remains a great place for water sports lovers too.

Parpatiya
Parpatiya is untouched from the fake layers of modern world. Visit here and spend your holidays exploring a beautiful list of attractions like Bandarkot Mountains, Raksamada Caves, Dulha-Dulhan Mountain, Banrai Dam, etc.  The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has organized Adventure Sports facility at this point to keep travelers entertained.

Mehta Point
This point is 8km away from Manipat. Rising mountain ranges embrace Mehta Point from all directions. It edges the borders of Surguja and Raigarh and makes a beautiful place to relish a stay amidst nature.

How to Reach
By Air: Nearest airport from Manipat is Raipur which is well connected with all major Indian cities.

By Rail: Trains are available from Bilaspur (240 km) to Ambikapur.

By Road: With availability of buses and taxis, Manipat is easily accessible from Ambikapur (85km) and Raigarh (193km).
