Jama Masjid also known as Taj-ul-Masajid is a popular mosque in Bhopal with minarets and marble domes. Another famous pilgrim spot is the Manua Bhan Ki Tekri also known as Mahaveer Tekri, which is a famous Jain Temple in Bhopal, situated at the hill top near Lalghati.

The best time to visit Bhopal is during the winters. The winter season lasts from November to February, with the lowest temperature recorded around 9 °C (48 °F) and highest around 23 °C (73 °F). It is a perfect time to experience the natural beauty of the city. One can dress in layers and carry a light jacket for the nippy nights.

How to reach Bhopal
By Air – Bhopal Airport is located about 13 km northwest of the city centre and is well-connected to other major cities of the country like Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Raipur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Mumbai by regular flights. From the airport, taxis are available to reach the city centre.
By Train – Bhopal Junction is the largest railway station in the city and is a major junction on the Delhi-Chennai main line and the Central railway route from Delhi to Mumbai. It connects Bhopal to all parts of the country, except North-Eastern states.
By Road – Regular state run and private bus services connect Bhopal to Ahmedabad, Kota, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Shirdi, Pune, Jaipur, Amravati, Vadodara, Surat and Nashik.
